The young people in our service may have left foster care, care homes, experienced family breakdowns or may be seeking asylum, and require a robust support network around them to empower them to gain independence.

Salary: £12 per hour

Hours: Casual

Shifts: Days and Nights

Role description:

  • Assess clients needs and create a personalised plan of support.
  • Empowering Young People, supporting with practical and emotional needs.
  • Monitoring and recording progress and outcomes of clients.
  • Completing risk assessments, managing risks, missing persons, challenging behaviour.

Requirements / Experience:

  • Enhanced DBS Child.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience of working with Young People, Care leavers 16 to 24 years old in a residential setting, supported housing.
  • Experience of dealing with missing persons and safeguarding.
  • Experience Support clients to learn new skills, build positive relationships, and access the resources they need in order to move on independently.

Candidates should have a current, enhanced DBS certificate, if you do not hold a valid DBS Certificate, they must be willing to apply for one
